GSKKU Welcomes Study Visit Delegation from CUII to Exchange Best Practices in Graduate Education Management

Graduate School, Khon Kaen University Welcomes Study Visit Delegation from the College of Interdisciplinary and Integrative Studies, Chulalongkorn University, to Exchange Best Practices in Graduate Education Management
 
Professor Dr. Kiatichai Faksri, Dean of the Graduate School, together with Professor Dr. Waraporn Putalun, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Teerasak Damrongrungruang, Associate Dean for Graduate Research Strategy, and the executive team and staff of the Graduate School, Khon Kaen University, welcomed a study visit delegation from the College of Interdisciplinary and Integrative Studies, Chulalongkorn University.
The delegation, led by Associate Professor Dr. Thiti Bovornratanaraks, Dean of the College of Interdisciplinary and Integrative Studies, along with administrators and staff totaling 57 participants, visited on February 6, 2026 at Meeting Room 1, 4th Floor, Pimol Kalakicha Building. The visit aimed to exchange knowledge and share best practices in graduate education management. On this occasion, Professor Dr. Waraporn Putalun introduced the Graduate School’s organizational structure and operational framework, while Professor Dr. Teerasak Damrongrungruang presented approaches to the management and implementation of interdisciplinary graduate programs at Khon Kaen University.
 
The study visit focused on the exchange of experience in three key areas: the application of the EdPEx framework for organizational development, process-based management to drive excellence in graduate education, and the integrated management of interdisciplinary academic programs. The program included an interactive question-and-answer session, allowing both institutions to share perspectives and management practices for adaptation and improvement in graduate education operations. This exchange also served as a platform for strengthening academic collaboration and fostering networks that will contribute to enhancing the quality of graduate education at both institutions.
