Graduate School Visits Chang Gung University to Strengthen Academic Collaboration

On 19 November 2025, the Graduate School, led by Professor Kiatichai Faksri, Dean of the Graduate School, visited Chang Gung University (CGU), Taiwan to enhance academic collaboration between the two institutions.

The Graduate School delegation was warmly welcomed by representatives of Chang Gung University, including: Prof. Thomas K.F. Lei, Dean of the Office of International Affairs,
Prof. Bertrand Tan, Chairman of the Department of Biomedical Sciences/Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences, College of Medicine and Prof. Ming-Ling Kuo, Director of the Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences.

The meeting focused on several key areas of potential cooperation, including:

  • Integrative Graduate Curriculum and Teaching Programs
  • Curriculum Design and the development of a 3+2 Bachelor–Master Program
  • Translating scientific knowledge into industrial applications
  • Facilities and research infrastructure, including laboratory resources, equipment, and technologies supporting biomedical education and research

This productive discussion marks an important step toward strengthening academic and research collaboration between Khon Kaen University and Chang Gung University, laying the foundation for future joint initiatives and programs.
